What's the most sacred place you've been?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 29, 2007:
Rome. And not just because of St. Peter's but because of the historical layers of sacred spaces everywhere you go--ancient, early christian, medieval, renassaince, baroque, eigteenth-century, modern, contemporary. And because of the food.
